^_^

Awww isss so cute!!

So I was wondering....

Do you ever have those people

that just come from nowhere

and end up being somebody you never want to stop thinking about?

Yeah...

Pretty sure that I am.....

twitterpated.

There I was, just walking along, neither looking to the left nor to the right. And then BAM! I ran into a pretty face. I won't bore you with all the emotions and the like that flood me at such thoughts of her. But this picture basically shows what I feel when I'm around her.

Yeah. I'm like super happy right now. I was going to talk all about the fantasticness of my date, but I think I will keep all that to myself.

HAPPY!!!!!

Hobbies

Modern Samurai

Man.... Sometimes I wish I had sweet hobbies.

Oh wait....

I guess I have some that are kinda.... mostly sweet.

I imagine at this point you are either rattling off strange things I do or you are wondering what I consider some of my hobbies.

People watching: People watching or crowd watching is the act of observing people and their interactions, usually without their knowledge.

People are weird. I enjoy watching them . Now that may be creepy, oh well. If you have a problem with me doing this, shove off. You ever notice how people just do strange things when put into groups? Yeah. No more prattle on this.

Acting strangely. You know how there's always some weird kid in a group of people? I'm both of them. No I'm not. Yes I am. I prance, I skip, I act like a T-rex before diving into rolls. I'm only mostly weird.

Martial arts. I enjoy them. Some would say I've got mad nunchuck skills, they would be correct. I currently hold a 1st degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and a black belt in Hapkido. My favorite weapon? My good looks. But seriously, I enjoy working with staves or escrima sticks.

I totally enjoy the company of beautiful women. Some guys as well, but mostly the women part. Now before you go off thinking crazy thoughts about me being a player, stop. Girls are far better than guys. Examples? Smell, humor, all around awesomeness.

I have some cool Native hobbies to....

You know what is totally unrelated to the previous statement? Working out. Working out is fun for me, most especially when I'm with my skinny friends. They make me feel like I'm a big, beefy guy. The best part when I work out, is I usually end up dancing. Now I'm no dancer, so it all basically looks like I'm having a stroke or a conniption fit.

Back to Nativeness... I don't do much. My family is by no means traditional. I don't recall ever meeting any of my native relations. My mother was adopted young so most of the things that I do that are decidedly native I have actually learned from my father.

Like hatchet throwing

Or maybe even archery. Though I am no where near the beast this man is.

Then I also happen to be an exotic dancer. Exotic being that it is native, and that you don't see it around all that often.

All these photos were done by Emma Marie. She has fantastic photography skills. You should go check out her work (and like her page) at this link here. I personally enjoy her website MUCH more. Seriously. If you are reading my blog, go browse through her portfolio. She is a paragon of photographers across the valley.

A Lost bet

You know those days where you lose bets? Yeah... They happen to me as well. On the brighter side this shows (hopefully?) that I have been keeping an oath I made. It's a cool story. I tell it at parties. (UMADBRO?)

My advice...

Don't ask.

If you didn't laugh out loud, quit checking me out.

May the odds be ever in your favor.

(They weren't in mine)

Captain's Ledger 9-30-11 ~ 10-2-11

For those of you who didn't read the first installment of my memoirs, you're terrible, terrible people. How do you fix that? Click on these pretty blue letters.

Captain's Ledger Friday, 9-30-11

91 days til I turn 19

Another late morning, 5:50 in the A.M. Used coconut milk and water mixture (30%/70%) for a pleasant and sweet liquid in my cereal. Was very similar to almond milk. Left ~6:30 to rescue 2 ATVs from the Bog. The mates and I broke several tow straps last night attempting to pull them out. Today [we] met with success retrieving them. We also made a "bridge" to cross a pretty terrible area near the highway. Returned to camp, boiled hot dogs and made cheesy chili. Conked out for a good half hour, munchitized, then proceeded to be half awake while hiding from the midday sun. Had to change the gas drum. We managed to thread the rotary pump into the top AND fix the handle so it now revolves smoothly. Also today we all ferried out super sacks filled with sally sacks which we shall use to bag those wonderful brine shrimp eggs. After the hauling of bags and crates was finished, the bosun took me and my first mate (Maurice Benally) on a scouting mission at sea. Upon reaching the briny deep, the bosun began pointing out indicators of our microscopic harvest. First mate and I found a tennis ball and a child's baseball bat. Bosun scavenged a 5-gallon ashtray.
I worked on my grave, need a good rain to get deepen it.

Saturday, 10-1-11

Found STEVE

Yet another late start. Up and going ~7 A.M. Around 9, bosun showed the crew the basics of harvesting brine shrimp. Harvest officially started at noon. Prepared hot dogs for dinner.

Sunday, 10-2-11

Sunday the 2nd revealed there is no day of rest here. Full days will begin soon. Up at 3 A.M. on the beach by 4 A.M. and harvesting at first light. Today I whipped up gourmet teriyaki chicken, molded (shaped?) sculptured rice. <-- The crew greatly appreciated my efforts. Apparently it was discussed and decided to make me the official camp chef. This morning one man defected. <--- As soon as we began departing for work he spoke to the bosun, who promptly deported him. Around 9 at night, bosun retrieved a large man from the highway. The man had quite the tale of woe. He had come from another camp (Antenna?) where all was chaos. Food and supplies would be shipped and arrive (sometimes not) and a feeding frenzy would ensue. Henry, as he was called (fondly my Big Friendly Giant), had been working the past two full days on a few cups of milk.

May the odds be ever in your favor.

Mobile

Yes. You are in trouble. I now have Blogger on my phone. Sure the posts from the phone won't be long and beautiful, but they may very well be even more random. Take this picture, for example. I wandered University Mall all beautiful and sparkly eyed. I think there is only one thing to be said about it. RAWR ;)

Gaming

Yes. I'm one of those rare guys who can play video games AND have a social life. What might I play? Well... I don't really know.

Yes friends. I am a geek.

I play it.

Pretty colors are awesome, aren't they? You know what else is awesome? Being completely comfortable announcing to the world you play this guy....

Basically I spend around 4 hours a week playing this. Pretty fun I must say.

To be honest though.... I have very much become a fan of The Legend of Zelda.

So much time I have spent in my attempts to beat all the games. Have been successful? You betcha! I mean come on, you play the part of a guy destroying evil hordes to save his beautiful princess. The best part? You do all of this without pants.  Where does he keep all his stuff anywho?

I've recently beat Skyward Sword, the most recent installment of the Zelda series. Towards the beginning of it all, I had an epiphany. What if Link is really just a deranged psychopath and we are only seeing things from his perspective? He goes around killing monsters and taking their hearts and most likely ingesting them.
Sick and a bit twisted? Yes. Does it make for a wonderful game? For sure. I mean this game has puzzles, storyline, and depth! And a rabid protagonist. What isn't there to like?

You know what else is cool? A fair number of the games have vicious chickens.
El Pollo Diablo
These chickens, when provoked, are the most vicious of any Link's opponents. Did I mention they're indestructible? You can't blow them up with bombs, chop them with a sword, or stick them with an arrow. They are like "your mom" jokes. They just won't die. It is my opinion Link should make armor out of them. He would be invincible! Not only would they protect him, they would attack his enemies and also allow him to fly. Genius? Of course it is. That's why I didn't pay someone else to draw it up for me.

May the odds ever be in your favor.

Meat

Basically this picture comes from a fantastic place....
this blog here.

Now that I've got the funny part of this post out of the way, I can be serious.

I felt like meat.

I felt like I was being weighed and measured. But for the most part, I felt like I was being eyed up and down, devoured, if you will.

Why is this? Where? I'll tell you, because we both know you are ever so fond of hearing about my semi-awkward life.

Changes

Okay. Once upon a time I was amusing and such on the blog. When did this thing turn into my venting place? I dunno....

It is is time.

It is time for the Smile of Happiness

to rise up from the ashes and shine forth like never before.

BOLLYWOOD!!

Now for the serious thought...

You know those people who pour absolutely EVERYTHING they've got into life? It's as if positive energy is dripping out of their ears... you know those people who you don't really even know, but they somehow make you want to experience more, to get to know people more, to make every day into something special? yeah...I want to be like that. (THANK YOU Melissa Gee)
I have very much been trying to change my life to live it as such. The best part? I have a role model for it. His name? Dale Thomas Tingey. Who's he? Well here is a tiny bit about him.
Fighter Pilot during WWII, founder of American Indian Services, recipient of the Day of '47 Health Education & Humanitarian Assistance Award, and most important to me, he is my grandfather. I doubt there is anywhere he could go in the nation without knowing somebody or being known by somebody.
1:22 shows where I get my mad skillz

Yes. He is fantastic. He is a man who has dedicated his life and everything in it to serving others. He oozes vitality. (Seriously. He turns 88 this year and is still running around serving.) He wreaks of positiveness. He is my role model. Want to know more about him? Maybe try reading a bit of his biography, Same Drum Different Beat. Or better yet, you should come with me and say hello to him sometime. He enjoys the like and we might get to do some fun service. What kind of fun service? Stacking mountains of chocolate boxes.

May the odds ever be in your favor.

Awkward

Awkard

Awkward: adjective Lacking skill or dexterity

Awkward definitely describes a great many things about me. Awkward times I laugh, awkward statements, but most importantly (detrimental) awkward attempts at courting.

When it comes to girls... I feel like this guy at 3 minutes-4 minutes and definitely 4:42-6:20, just minus the happy ending. You should definitely watch 4:42-6:20. It'll make your day.

I've gotten much better over the past few years, for the most part I'm only clumsy. I just really wish I could manage to get out what  I actually want to say.

Then I'm more often than not, here in the Friend Zone. This is the point where you click here if you dunno what I am referring to. You should also click on it if you want to be entertained or if you are/have been in marching band.
